This is the period of Ramadan or Eid. Little Nader runs, climbs and rushes down the hills of his village to supply the inhabitants with filo pastry. Very enthusiastic, he has not stopped running throughout the fast month until the eve of the feast when his parents decided to buy him new clothes. He was rather dazzled by the shoes and reacted up to disrupting the family harmony...

كان يا مكان في ريف تونس اليوم طفل صغير في ربيعه التاسع٬ "نادر"٬ يعشق العدو...تراه يجري طوال الوقت في كل الأماكن بدون هوادة محمولا على أجنحة الحلم وجرأة الطفولة وكأنه يريد التحرر من قيود الجاذبية... بمناسبة عيد الفطر, خرج نادر مع أفراد عائلته لشراء ثياب العيد فأعجبه ﺣﺫاء "غريب" وأراد اقتناءه ولكن ثمنه باهض ووالده لا يملك القدرة على شرائه له...

Nader, un bambino di 9 anni che vive in un piccolo villaggio di campagna, ha un sogno: vuole correre. In occasione della Festa dell'Aïd, vede delle scarpe da corsa e se ne innamora, ma il padre non può permettersi di acquistargliele. Il bambino entra quindi in un'ossessiva ricerca delle scarpe ambite e ci porta nel suo mondo magico attraversato da sogni, incubi, frustrazione e speranze.
