Academic by training, specialist in animation cinema, author, director, teacher (EMCA, Angoulême), associate researcher at the University of Toulouse J.-Jaurès, Pascal VIMENET has taught at Gobelins, La Poudrière and Tours (University F.-Rabelais). Event designer (Boro, 2008; Svankmajer, 2010), he has been an expert since 2003 with the Musée d'Annecy. He has been publishing for 30 years (2018-2019: Et revoilà les Shadoks! - Un abécédaire de la fantasmagorie, t. 4 - Clés pour Trnka). Member of the scientific council of Nef Animation, he is Project Manager for the Animation Cinema Museum (Angoulême). He was several times a member of the jury of Ciné Sud de Cozes (Festival of African short films
