General De Gaulles' government: the first unwise measures are being instituted in Algeria and Morocco.  After listening to the false promises and rumors, hundreds of Moroccan veterans move to France. Veterans who took part in the last war have seen their war pension freeze after the independence of their country. In 1997, upon the reviewing of their situation, a group of vets went before the Court of Bordeaux to negotiate their right of benefitting from a war pension.
