Clémence, a devoted and pugnacious mayor of a poor town in the 93 region, is living the last months of her political career. With the help of her brilliant and loyal right-hand man, Yazid, she fights passionately to save a district of the city that is plagued by insalubrity and "sleep merchants". But when Clémence is approached to become a minister, a hitherto suppressed ambition emerges, testing her relationship to political commitment as well as her friendship with Yazid.
