Two inseparable sisters find themselves with an urn containing the ashes of their biological mother whom they never knew. In a posthumous letter, she asks them to disperse her ashes into the sea. These final wishes take the sisters to "Les Embruns," a restaurant where the mother had ended up after abandoning her babies.
