Humaid Al Shehi, the head of Umm Al Quwain Folklore Society, works on reviving one of the traditional sea songs that hasn't been performed properly in decades because it requires the ritual of being sung in the sea on a traditional rowing boat and in participation with a big number of singers. He realizes that in order to have a successful performance, he must ask Saif Alzibadi, their teacher and one of the most famous sea singers in the whole country, to join them and be the lead singer. Saif wishes to cross Umm Al Quwain Creek for the last time in his life on a fishing boat and to sing one of his old folklore songs to the fishermen. Unfortunately he is considered disabled in the eyes of very many people around him including his own children. His closest friend Sultan Bin Ghaffan takes the risk to help Alzibadi accomplish his dream in secret and make the journey to the other shore of the sea as they used to do when they were young. The film is a witness to the constraints of old age in the face of friendship and long-lost dreams. -Mohammad Khawaja
