Images of Black Women (IBW) Film Festival has acted for nearly a decade as the only advocate for change in the representation of black women in film, presenting the global black experience with a focus on women in varied roles such as actresses, directors, screenwrites and producers.

Yennenga:

An adapted version of the 12th century's legend of Princess Yennenga the brave female warrior, who saved the kingdom of his father the King of the Mossi tribe of Burkina Faso and made peace with the enemies. A perfect tale for Euzhan Palcy, the first black female director produced by a major Hollywood studio.
